Itinerary
From Tahiti, South Pacific to Polynesia, Raiatea, French Polynesia - French Polynesia
Welcome and boarding at 3 PM at the main dock in downtown Uturoa. After boarding, there will be a short sail in the lagoon of Raiatea/Tahaa towards the northwest of Tahaa island. Enjoy swimming, water activities, or a snorkeling session.
Sailing to Bora Bora (4 hours). Lunch at anchor in front of Motu Tapu. In the afternoon, discover one of the most beautiful lagoons in the South Pacific. Overnight at anchor in the East of Bora Bora.
After breakfast, enjoy the beach, kayaking, and paddle boarding. In the afternoon, visit the famous Bora Bora lagoon. Evening and overnight at Matira Point. Optional excursion: guided tour aboard a Polynesian outrigger canoe (half-day), exploring the coral garden and observing manta rays.
After breakfast, a 4-hour sail to Raiatea island. Lunch at anchor followed by an afternoon of relaxation. Enjoy water activities, swimming, and snorkeling. Evening and overnight at anchor
Morning shopping stop in Uturoa, the main village of Raiatea. Visit the local market. After lunch, a 4-hour sail to Huahine island. Arrival at Fare, visit the main village, and overnight at anchor. Optional excursion: Guided tour of Raiatea, the sacred island (half-day). Visit Marae of Taputapuatea, valleys, and mountains.
Morning relaxation on Ana Iti beach: water sports, kayaking, swimming, and free diving. Afternoon in Avea Bay in the south of the island. Overnight at anchor. Optional excursion: Guided tour of Huahine (half-day), exploring archaeological sites, fish park, vanilla plantation, and sacred eels.
After breakfast, a 4-hour sail towards Tahaa. Lunch at anchor facing Motu Ceran. Enjoy an afternoon at anchor for water activities and/or relaxation on the motu. In the late afternoon, a very short sail to Faa’aha Bay. Overnight at anchor. Optional dinner: Dinner ashore at a restaurant with Polynesian entertainment and dance.
Early morning departure, sail to Raiatea, about 1 hour. Disembarkation at 8 AM at the port in downtown Uturoa. The itinerary, activities, and excursions may be modified without notice, depending on weather conditions, excursions, and/or technical reasons. The itinerary will be adapted to fully enjoy the beauty of the Leeward Islands archipelago (with possible modification of the order of stages).
When sailing times are given above, they are based on an average cruising speed of 7 knots. They may vary depending on sea state, wind speed and weather conditions.
